On 5th April, Iflix hosted its success party for Teefa in Trouble at Café Flo. It was a pleasantly breezy evening filled with glitz, glamour and a tonne of fun, making it a night to remember.

Everyone’s attention was focused on Ali Zafar and the highly interactive and jovial audience kept wanting more of him. The evening was packed with exciting entertainment like role playing activities and karaoke to make sure that no one left without having a ball of a time.

In addition, the singer-cum-actor left the audience swooning with his mesmerizing charm and serenaded them with his soulful crooning. He made it impossible to break away from his spell.

As he addressed those present, he gleamed with joy and expressed immense gratitude towards those who painstakingly helped him fulfill his dream to produce an iconic film for his home country.

One Person, Multiple Roles

Ali Zafar, proved that it doesn’t hurt to leave your comfort zone and take on various roles. He dreamed big, aimed for the stars and is now one of the brightest. For this film he took on a plethora of roles: producer, writer, music director, lyricist, singer and actor. What can’t this talented man do? This goes to show that putting your heart and soul into a project produces the same results as spinning straw into gold.

He spoke about how he was advised not to release the film but did so anyway during a tumultuous time: election week and a non-Eid holiday weekend. Even though it was a time that the film industry would deem unfavorable for any launch, Zafar’s unwavering faith and belief in the film, its maker and God lead him to produce unparalleled success for his team and the industry as a whole.

At the event, director and co-writer of the film, Ahsan Rahim shared the heartfelt and challenging moments he faced whilst shooting the film. He called it the most satisfying task of his life and despite having directed countless iconic music videos and advertising films in the past, Teefa in Trouble, marked his magnificent debut, breathing life into Pakistani cinema.
